ARCHBISHOP KWOFIE INAUGRATES NEW DIOCESAN HEALTH BOARD

Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, CSSp has inaugurated a new 9 member Board of Directors for the Diocesan Health Directorate for the Catholic Diocese of Sekondi -Takoradi.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the new Board on Monday, February 24, 2020, Archbishop Kwofie expressed gratitude to members of the Board “for availing themselves for such a vital role.”

He further urged to be diligent in playing their role as Board members so that “together with other stakeholders, we can ensure the provision of quality healthcare for all who access the health facilities within the diocese.”

Dr. Paul Ntodi, Chairman for the newly inaugurated Board expressed appreciation to the Archbishop for appointing them as members of the new Board. He also pledged their “commitment to the mandate of the Board.”

The new Board of Directors are expected to serve a term of three years in office. Members of the new Board include;

  1. Dr. Paul Ntodi- Board Chairman
  2. Rev Fr Eric Kwasi Elliason
  3. Rev Fr Charles Oppong
  4. Rev. Fr Clement Akwasi Adjei
  5. Rev. Fr Paul Appiah Himin Asante
  6. Dr Boateng Duah
  7. Mrs Joana Adusei Poku
  8. Mr Charles Morison
  9. Ms Caroline Efah Otoo
